2026 Anchorage Winter Prep Fair

Fall is here, winter is not too far off, and rising energy costs mean that it will cost folks even more to stay warm in the coming months. Fortunately, there is a lot you can do to reduce your energy use while keeping your home warm and cozy! Join Renewable Energy Alaska Project for a family-friendly Winter Prep Fair beginning at Noon this Saturday, October 10, complete with: * Free food * Complimentary weatherization kits for the first 100 people * Demonstrations and resources provided by a stellar lineup of community partners * Fun activities for all ages! Attendance is free! This event is supported by a grant from the Municipality of Anchorage.
